During his life, Muhammad PBUH gave various commands to his forces and adopted practices toward the conduct of war. 'Islamic Ethics of Warfare' contains information about Islamic rulings on Jihad, fighting in the way of Allah, Truce and Peace Treaty and Distribution of War Booty, Kharaj and Jizyah. It is part of the "Encyclopedia of Islamic Jurisprudence Concerning Muslim Women" series written by Yusuf Al-Hajj Ahmad. This series addresses those matters of life and religion that are essential in facilitating a woman's role as a mother, teacher and nurturer.
